Lorcana Rarities in Order: Symbols Explained
Every Lorcana card carries a rarity symbol near the collector number. The current standard order has eight tiers, from Common through Iconic. Epic and Iconic joined the original six with Fabled, so older six-tier charts are now incomplete.

The eight Lorcana rarities in order
The current order is Common, Uncommon, Rare, Super Rare, Legendary, Epic, Enchanted, and Iconic. Fabled introduced Epic and Iconic: Epic cards use frameless artwork and rainbow foil and sit between Legendary and Enchanted, while Iconic cards use premium alternate art, rainbow foil hot stamping, and a holofoil rarity symbol at the top of the ladder.

Where to look on the card
Check the bottom bar of the card face: collector number, set indicator, and the rarity symbol sit together. If you are sorting a bulk box, this bar is the fastest single reference point for both set and rarity.
What “Special” means in the LanaKit database
Special is the source-data label for printings outside the standard eight-step booster rarity ladder, including many quest and promo-numbered cards. It stays in its own LanaKit directory so those printings are easy to find, but it is not a ninth tier between two booster rarities.
Rarity versus value
Rarity sets the supply context, but demand sets the price. Some lower-rarity tournament cards outprice Legendaries because of playability, while Epic, Enchanted, and Iconic cards vary with character, artwork, and condition. Use a live price view rather than assuming the tier equals the price.
Sort faster by scanning
